Youth Work
We have a passionate and committed youth team who work alongside our young people. Their heart is to serve youngsters as they explore and live out their faith within their varied contexts.
Youth programme
EDEN: Runs every half term and is for 12-18's. A chance to get together in the Eden Bar and then turn the volume up for some great teaching and passionate worship in a contemporary setting.
Cell Groups: Both our 12-14’s and 15-18’s cell groups meet here at the KCC Church Building every other week. We value these times very highly and see youth cells as a core area of the youth work. The evening will benefit from front led teaching and worship as well as peer led group discussions encouraging us to grow in relationship with God and each other.
Gen.er8: Runs most weeks for our 12-14’s, after the worship time in our Sunday morning services. We have great times exploring the word of God in a fun and practical way and discover ways of applying it to our own lives.
Re-Gen.er8: We try to have a Re-Gener8 meeting at the beginning of every month. It’s a fantastic time for our 12-18’s to all come together as a youth group and be encouraged and challenged from a number of our youth leaders teaching from God’s word.
Ygnite: For 12-14’s on Friday nights. After a long hard week at school here is the chance to just hang out with mates, share highs and lows of the week over a game of pool, Xbox or maybe releasing some energy in some of the group games like dodge ball!
Youth Alpha: Runs in local schools and colleges by our young people. We aim to support them providing training finances to help run the course as well as attending where possible.
Newday: Every summer our youth camping trip joining around 7000 other young people hosted by New Frontiers Youth Team.
Youth Away weekend: The first weekend of October half term we take all the youth away for our own get away to fellowship and seek after God.
