Are you at a Southampton university and still not settled into a church? Would you like to come along to KCC? Fill in this form, and we'll sort you a lift!

At KCC we don't have a separate student work as such. We believe that God wants us to be one big family made up of people from every nationality, background and age. Whilst we recognise that there are great opportunities on campus to tell others about Jesus, your primary calling as a student is to be part of a local church where you can grow as a believer and be equipped to play your part in reaching this city and even the nations!

We know it's really hard to be in a new place, among new people, with lots of work and very little sleep. It is so important for you to be built in to church - many students have a wobble in their faith at University because they don't prioritise church - make sure you're not one of them!

Getting involved

If you are a student at either Southampton or Solent Universities, we'd love to let you know some more about the church, so give us a ring or an e-mail, and we'll arrange a lift over to us.
 

We would also love to see you coming along to one of our cells, or getting stuck in, serving in any one of our areas, so if you love working with kids, young people, or the more senior of our citizens, or you want to be involved in worship, evangelism or you just love cooking, then get your teeth stuck in!

"Sunday Nite Live" is an opportunity for Students and Twenties to gather together for a great time of worship and ministry, as well as hearing a fantastic relevant talk - oh, and there'll be proper coffee, and nice cakes! Click here to find out more.

University Life

We support both Universities within the city, and if you're wondering what they get up to:

Partnership

We work together with Life Church, Southampton, our fellow newfrontiers church in the city, on a gathering called Sunday Nite Live. We also support the work of the Christian Unions in the Universities, and work together with Fusion the student cell networks.

As part of newfrontiers, we encourage involvement with the Mobilise conference in the summer, and other student gatherings including the Student and Twenties Weekend in Spring 2008.

We are also linked to Fusion, the student cell network, they have a fantastic website, and a brilliant magazine called Fuse that's well worth a read. You can sign up for a hard or electronic copy on their website; if you have a password for this KCC site, you can apply to use your same login and password on their site.
