What is it?

The youth version of the Alpha course runs on Thursday evenings over 10 weeks and is the perfect opportunity to ask any question you have ever wanted to about God, Jesus, Church, Christianity, or any other of the big issues in life.

Every nite there are live talks with multi-media presentations featuring video clips, images, and music. And there's loads of free food too!!!

So what are the talks on?

Is there more to life than this?
	Who is Jesus?
	Why did Jesus die?
	How can I be sure of my faith?
	Why and How we pray?
	Why and How we read the Bible?
	How does God guide us?
	Who is the Holy Spirit
	What does the Holy Spirit do?
	How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?
	How can I resist evil?
	Does God heal today?
	What about the church?

What can I expect?

A typical evening includes:
>> Games and food on arrival, helping us to get to know each other a bit more, as well as get a bit fatter at the same time!
>> Meet the Leader; your chance to find out all about someone on the team, hear about how they became a Christian, and your chance to ask them anything you want to about anything.

>> The talk. For no more than 20 minutes, there'll be a look at one of these subjects using films, stories and other stuff.

>> Small Groups. Your chance to wrestle with issues raised and let your voice be heard as we chat thru this stuff, and you can ask anything about Christianity. No question can't be asked.

Why should I do it?

If you wanna know the answer to that question, this is what a few others thought:

  -   I do think a bit differently and how I view the world, I think I have a slightly stronger faith now

  -   I've loved youthalpha, I feel superbly strong and invincable, ten feet tall and over the moon

  -   I have grown closer to God through youthalpha. This has happened through the course

  -   I never knew there was so much to learn about God

  -   I loved making new mates

  -   I really enjoyed the discussion groups, you could ask anything

  -   It was so cool, you could chat with leaders

  -   More chocolate fountain please
